Description

Permaculture planting principles promote biodiversity of plants and animals in order to nourish and support the regeneration and building of the soil instead of the depletion and erosion of soil that happens in monocropped, industrial agriculture systems. This mountainside has hundreds of varieties of plants, some edible, some medicinal, others to attract pollinators and build soil. Over years of biodiverse planting, a true food jungle has begun to take root at Plenitud Puerto Rico.
