Photographers

DESCRIPTION Raíces seeks amateur and professional photographers to help document the programs, events, activities and history of the Raíces Cultural Center organization. Photographers will receive a calendar of events and sign up to photograph those that fit their own schedule. Volunteer photographers can also work more in depth on Raíces Cultural Archive projects, documenting the arts and cultural traditions of the Caribbean, the African Diaspora, the Indigenous community and our own local artistic and cultural community. REQUIREMENTS Access to digital camera Ability to upload/copy digital image files to give/send to Raíces Photographers can choose to be involved in post-production, graphic design, social media uploading and sharing and creating photo essays on the Raíces blog. TRAINING We will provide training and guidance to any photographers wishing to undertake a larger project for the Raíces Cultural Center Archive.
