ROOTS AT THE HUB  Raíces Cultural Center offers a variety of cultural programming to the New Brunswick community at the Hub City Teen Center on 411 Joyce Kilmer Avenue. Raíces programming in the Hub City Teen Center is open to the general public, regardless of age and city of residence.  Raíces currently holds dance classes in the Teen Center's dance studios every Saturday. The Raíces Cultural Fusion Dance explores folkloric dances from the Caribbean such as Orisha dance, bomba, plena, son, rumba, and samba. These dances originated from a fusion of African, Spanish and Indigenous cultures in the Caribbean and their evolution throughout the diaspora (Children: 12-1 PM, Adults 1-2 PM).
