Bomba en Loíza

Each year during the Fiestas de Santiago Apostol, the Ayala Family hosts a bombazo (bomba dancing/drumming party) in their yard in Loíza. This home belongs to Loíza's traditional mask-makers, drummers and dancers of the Ayala Family.

Those in the diaspora living in NJ who practice the traditions must travel to Puerto Rico or New York City for this specific celebration.
