All products sold directly benefit both Raíces Cultural Center, A N.J. Nonprofit and the artist who created them, giving support to cultural programming and artists in our local community.

All items can be bought online and shipped, paid for and ordered by check through the mail and at all Raíces events or you can make an appointment to come to the center in person.

BAMBOO NECKLACES
Raíces Cultural Center directors handcraft bamboo pendants using cultural symbology from indigenous tribes such as the Taínos from Puerto Rico and African symbols. Necklaces are a $10 donation to Raíces, with 100% of the proceeds directly supporting the Raíces Cultural Center organization and programming. You can customize the design, size and shape of the pendent or just simply choose a symbol. Start here by ordering the symbol and a Raíces director will contact you within 48 hours with a short questionnaire to determine what size and shape or if you would like a surprise pendant with the symbol you chose.

He is the keeper of ashé, the creative potency of the universe and the "power to make things happen".
