Raíces works in conjunction with organizations, student groups, local businesses and individuals to create a strong and vibrant community of artists and arts supporters. These groups are major contributors to Raíces programming and events and supporters of Raíces as an organization.

RAÍCES COLLABORATORS

ALBUS CAVUS Albus Cavus was originally started as a small basement exhibit space that gradually grew into an international collective of artists, educators and visionaries who work primarily in public space. Our installations physically beautify the neighborhoods and also promote development of healthy and strong communities through interactive events. Albus Cavus and Raíces Cultural Center have collaborated since the formation of Raíces to provide cultural, artistic and educational programming on a public platform along the Raritan River waterfront. www.albuscav.us	FAMILY ARTS MOVEMENT Organizing Creative Family FunKtions for the Music and Art Loving fam-a-lams! VERBAL MAYHEM Verbal Mayhem is an official Student Organization at Rutgers University. Mayhem is both an open mic that meets every Tuesday during the school year at 9pm, and a performance collective where performers goto other events under the name. Open to the general public,The goal is to provide a platform for poets, emcees, singers etc to express their craft and network with others in the arts, as well as a place where people can just come and escape in art for one night during the school week. Verbal Mayhem president Sean Battle interns with the Raíces Ensemble and brings Verbal Mayhem programming to our Art Jam events in Deiner Park and the Raritan River Art Walk. HUB CITY REVIVAL Hub City Revival produces all ages arts and music events. Raíces and HCR work cooperate on the Jam event series, bringing artists and musicians together to share their crafts and create interactive art with the community. HCR is also a partner on the Raritan River Festival Committee. Visit HCR's Facebook Page	HUB CITY TEEN CENTER The Hub Teen Center is the largest dedicated teen center in the state of New Jersey and provides engaging opportunities for teens ages 13-19 in New Brunswick. Raíces presents dance classes in the Teen Center's dance studio for people of all ages. More info here
CITY OF NEW BRUNSWICK DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION Raíces works together with the Department of Recreation to present the Raritan River Festival in Boyd Park, New Brunswick, heading up the cultural component of the festival. www.nbrec.com	NEW BRUNSWICK CITY MARKET City Market promotes New Brunswick as a business destination to people who work downtown, people who live in New Brunswick, and people who live in the region and are looking for unique dining, entertainment, and shopping activities.
